Bill Tingley

William (Bill) Tingley is a graduate of Asbury College and Capital University Law School.  He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers—a select group of Family Law lawyers with only 22 members in Kentucky.

Mr. Tingley was instrumental in the development of the Jefferson County Family Court, first as the chairmen of multiple sub-committees of the Jefferson County Family Court Advisory Committee, and ultimately as the Co-Chairman of that committee.

He has practiced and lectured in all facets of Family Law for over 26 years and is the recipient of multiple awards in the area of Family Law including the Richard A. Revell Family Law Practitioner of the Year, LBA Outstanding Section Chair (Family Law Section), and the KYAAML’s Raising the Bar award—an award given only to Kentucky Family Law attorneys who consistently distinguish themselves in the field.

Mr. Tingley has been recognized by both the Kentucky Legislature’s House and Senate Judiciary Committee’s as an expert in the area of Family Law and offered testimony to that body regarding pending Family Law legislation.

He is published in the area of Domestic Violence and has designed multiple computer applications for use by Family Law judges and individuals appearing before the court.
