Louisville native Deborah Deweese served as a Jefferson District Judge and Senior Status Judge from 1994 to 2013. Deborah is graduate of Pleasure Ridge High School, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Louisville School of Law. Deborah chaired the first Jefferson County Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Council, was a member of the Jefferson County Crime Commission, and served as Chief District Judge. Deborah presided as Judge in Teen Court, Drug Court and Truancy Court. She is current Vice Chair of Bridgehaven Mental Health Services.
